2024 Visitor Information
Our Chili-Fest this year is “The Joe Harvey Invitational.” Our event is sanctioned by the International Chili Society and winners in various categories (Chili, Chili Verde, Homestyle and Salsa) will qualify to advance to the ICS World Championships.
Where’s the beans! Beans and non-vegetable fillers such as rice and pasta are not allowed in ICS competition chili. Preference is not given to either cut meat, ground meat, shredded meat or cubed meat.
Our Fact Sheet contains information about our event including fees, prizes, categories of competition and other useful information. Visitors to our event my take advantage of discounts offered by local lodging businesses when attending our event. This discounts may be found on our Fact Sheet for the event.
We offer free on-site parking and free admission. Visitors may sample the chili from contestants and other vendors by purchasing the official “Chili Tasting Kits” for $10. Bottled water is also available at the event for $1. These purchases by our visitors help us keep our event going each year and are very much appreciated.
